Megan Shaw handles legal and business affairs matters for the development and production of original live action, animation, and new media content, including reviewing, negotiating and drafting above-the-line writer, producer, director and performer short and long form agreements as well as below-the-line agreements for department heads, consultants, vendors and locations. Megan also drafts distribution agreements for motion picture and television series and reviews credits and analyzes above-the-line agreements for episodic series and motion pictures and drafts paid ad memos reflecting talent restrictions and obligations, including stills, commercial tie-in and merchandising approval, paid ad obligations, and publicity matters. Megan’s experience also includes prior in-house counsel positions at Constantin Film, DreamWorks Animation and Arclight Films as well as a Staff Attorney position at Loeb & Loeb LLP, where she negotiated and drafted development, production services, talent, distribution, and other production-related agreements, as well as content license and distribution agreements with major U.S. studios and independent U.S. and international distributors for theatrical, linear and on demand exploitation. Megan graduated from Loyola Law School.
