Joseph Lee handles legal affairs matters relating to the development of live action and animated television and new media content, including negotiating and drafting literary option purchase agreements, life rights agreements, and production services agreements. He has extensive experience analyzing and advising on clients’ rights, including chain of title, derivative rights, distribution rights, and ancillary rights, including merchandising, publishing, theatrical, and live stage. He also possesses significant experience handling business and legal affairs matters relating to distribution of content, including negotiating and drafting license agreements for worldwide home entertainment distribution, direct response distribution, and theatrical event screenings. Prior to joining the firm, Joseph represented clients in business and product liability matters with a focus on complex litigation involving multiple parties. Joseph graduated from the UCLA School of Law.
