Jennifer Richmond handles a wide range of legal and business affairs matters for the development and production of original live action, animation, podcast, and new media content, including reviewing, negotiating and drafting above-the-line writer, producer, director and performer short and long form agreements. She is also responsible for day-to-day production matters including clearance, guild, copyright and trademark matters. Jennifer also drafts and negotiates rights acquisition and option/purchase agreements, development, and production services agreements for original animated, live action, and podcast series. Jennifer’s experience also includes prior in house counsel positions at Sony Pictures Television and KCET, where she negotiated and drafted development, production services, talent, distribution, and other production-related agreements, as well as content license and distribution agreements with major U.S. studios and independent U.S. and international distributors for linear and on demand exploitation. Jennifer graduated from Loyola Law School.
