Gary Spiegel is an experienced television and multi-media development and production counsel handling matters for networks, studios and production companies. He has overseen the development and production of scripted and reality series, documentaries, television movies, specials, court shows, programs derived from user generated content, as well as animated programs. Reviews all elements of productions to secure all rights and avoid liability. Negotiated license agreements, resolved threatened copyright infringement, trademark, defamation, and contract claims. Prior to joining Film & Ink Gary worked for Walt Disney Network Television, The Hearst Corporation, DIC Animation, NBC Studios, Vin Di Bona Productions and practiced litigation handling general business and intellectual property litigation, including trade secrets, unfair competition, trademarks, copyright, insurance coverage and bank fraud, tort claims, contract disputes, trade secrets and insurance coverage for Squire, Sanders & Dempsey (Formerly Graham & James) and Lillick, McHose & Charles (Became Pillsbury & Winthrop).
